Our Story

Aurora was founded in 2024 after its founders realized that high-performing professionals were overwhelmed by operational demands consuming their time and energy. Carollina and Fabio set out to build a personal assistant service that combines operational excellence with technology and a human touch. Our assistants come from fields like International Relations, Engineering, Fashion, Architecture, and Marketing β€” and bring complementary skills such as project management, fluency in multiple languages, and mastery of the tools and platforms that keep our clients' days running smoothly.

Aurora was born from the shared vision of Carollina and Fabio: to build a service that gives people back their time and lightens their load, with excellence in every detail.

Co-founder & CEO

Carollina built a distinguished career managing the full client journey β€” from marketing and sales to service and retention β€” always focused on generating real value in every interaction. She served as General Manager, leading cross-functional teams and owning strategic outcomes at high-growth startups, multinationals, and retail companies. This diverse experience gave her a broad business perspective and adaptability across different contexts. Her combination of strategic vision, execution capability, and human sensitivity is now at the core of Aurora's DNA.

Fabio Muniz

Co-founder & Chairman

Fabio founded Awari from scratch, backed by Y Combinator, Weekend Fund (Ryan Hoover), Harvard Management Company, and Latitud Ventures. He scaled it to over 20,000 students and sold it to Fluency Academy, a General Atlantic-backed company serving 300K+ students across Latin America with 30M+ social media followers. He stayed on post-acquisition as CPO. Before founding startups, he designed products for Google, NBCUniversal, Viacom, Colgate, and several YC companies. Today he is Chairman of Aurora and Chef (the largest personal chef subscription service in Brazil).
